I have been privately tutoring students aged between 5-11 for the past five years, predominantly 1-1, but with a handful of group lessons among friends and families. My key goal is to create a space in which to nurture students' confidence which bolsters their ability to achieve exceptional grades. I am a firm believer in the value of creative learning through play, so I like to make lessons fun and imaginative, which works to get students excited about writing and improves confidence.
“My daughter’s writing has blossomed along with a new and deep love of telling stories. Wonderful, funny, inventive, elaborate and entertaining work is routinely produced. She is gathering to herself her own style.”
— Mary-Anne, the mother of a student
I have a Creative Writing MA from Birkbeck College London and an English Literature BA from the University of Bristol, UK. In addition to this, I have volunteered at several children's literacy non-profits assisting children and young adults their creative writing skills. Whilst working at ZSL London Zoo, I established a creative writing program.
I am also a novelist working on a series of books for children.
“ Megan is uniquely enchanted with stories and writings. She is both infected with delight at all things to do with storytelling and contagious with her enthusiasm.”
